These codes should be used, as they enforce better RP. Benefits will await those who use these codes correctly.
10-00 codes, used most of the time for the main policing duties.
10-4 - Understood
10-8 - On-duty
10-10 - Off duty
10-14 - Hostage taken
10-15 - Prisoner detained
10-16 - Requesting pick-up
10-16A - Requesting pick-up for prisoner
10-20 - Location?
10-22 - Stand-down/disregard last transmission
10-23 - Stand-by
10-26 - Clear
10-27 - Traffic stop at _______
10-43 - Medical assistance needed
10-49 - En route
10-51 - Subject is drunk
10-51A - Drunk driver spotted at _______
10-53 - Suspect down
10-57 - Firearms discharge
10-65 - Missing person
10-66 - Suspicious person
10-71 - Shooting
10-72 - Knifing
10-79 - Bomb threat
10-80 - Explosion
10-97 - Arrived at scene

11-00 codes, not used as often, but more in-depth than the other codes.

11-25 - Traffic Hazard/Accident
11-51 - Escort needed (e.g transporting a mayor)
11-54 - Suspicious vehicle
11-55 - Officer is being followed by an unknown vehicle
11-71 - Fire at ________
11-79 - Accident, major injuries
11-80 - Accident, minor injuries
11-85 - Tow truck requested
11-94 - Traffic stop
11-95 - Routine traffic stop
11-96 - Searching vehicle
11-99 - Backup request

Code 20 - Officer needs assistance (non-urgent)
Code 30 - Officer needs urgent assistance, emergency
